David Ringius Endorses Anthony Preston For Braintree Town Council

BRAINTREE, MA — District 5 Town Council candidate Anthony Preston picked up the endorsement from the person who now holds that seat. Town Councilor David Ringius has thrown his support behind Preston and will run for the at-large seat instead.

"Anthony knows the issues facing our district and our town," Ringius said in a statement. "Whether it is stopping high-density development in our neighborhoods, reducing traffic, or providing the transparency that our residents are requesting, I am confident Anthony will be an outstanding Town Councilor for the residents of District 5."

Ringius has served as District 5's town councilor since 2017, but Preston said he was happy to receive Ringius's endorsement because he's been effective and served on several committees during his term.

"It is an honor to receive Councilor Ringius’ endorsement for District 5 Town Council," Preston said. "Through him, I have grown a better understanding of what it means to be an effective Councilor in our community. I look forward to continuing the fight to preserve our town’s character by giving you a voice at Town Hall."
