BRAINTREE, MA - A commuter on the Braintree line of the Red Line saw one of the last things one would want to observe on a moving train - an open door.

Molly O'Leary told WHDH that she noticed an open door in between cars when she jumped on the train, assuming it would close when the train started moving. That did not happen.

MBTA officials were notified of the door by a tweet and atempted to fix it at the North Quincy station, but the door reopened once the train started moving again.

The door was once again closed at JFK/UMass and remained shut. The door was inspected and no defects were discovered, according to the MBTA.
