Dorchester Woman Allegedly Tried to Steal from Baby Gap in Braintree

A 26-year-old Dorchester woman was arrested by Braintree police last Sunday after allegedly leaving Baby Gap at the without paying for merchandise.

Police were called to the store when loss prevention said they saw Moneika Graham, 26, put several items into her pocketbook, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

"Graham was detained and brought to the loss prevention office where the merchandise was recovered," Jenkins said. "Graham initially gave officers a false name, but her true name was learned and a computer check revealed nine outstanding warrants for multiple charges of larceny related offenses and threats."
