Enrollment at Braintree Schools Continues to Rise
There hasn't been an enrollment drop since 2006.

BRAINTREE, MA — Enrollment at the Braintree Public Schools continues to increase, according to new data.
Braintree started the 2016-17 school year with 2,809 students, an increase from 2015's 5,557. The school district has not seen a student population decrease since 2006, when enrollment went down from 5,195 in 2005 to 5,165.
The elementary level continues to have the highest enrollment with 2,644 students. South and East Middle Schools have a combined 1,410 students and Braintree High School houses 1,624 students.

The majority of middle school students are at East Middle School, which has a population of 733. South Middle School's population is 677.
