November is here and the holiday season will soon be upon us. For many, this time of year brings great joy and happiness. We share memories of past years with loved ones, and enjoy the company of our friends and family, creating new memories for years to come. This is a time of year to be thankful for even the smallest of comforts and blessings and to remember those less fortunate, most importantly, the children.
A donation box will be set up in our Lobby through 12/18 and our hope is to fill with donations (unwrapped toys only please) for those around us that cannot afford the luxury of toys. In the past 7 years, the Marine Toys for Tots foundation has collected and donated almost 81.3 million toys for children who would otherwise receive nothing on Christmas morning.
On Wednesday, December 7th & 14th , UNO Braintree will hold a special Toys for Tots toy drive, and anyone who brings in a new unwrapped toy will be entered into a raffle to win a variety of great prizes throughout the night.
