Fall Harvest Brings Apples, Pumpkins and More to Farmers Market

Fall Harvest has Begun
There's an unmistakable twinge of fall in the air which reminds us to that apples, pumpkins and mums are in season and available this Saturday at the Braintree Farmers Market hosted by Sustainable Braintree.  The market is located at the Braintree Town Hall Mall, One JFK Memorial Drive, Braintree from 9 to 1, rain or shine.  In the event of extreme inclement weather we will be located in front of and inside the town hall.  Please leave your pets at home while visiting the market.

Harvard Sweet Boutique is offering a discount on their giant cookies -- buy two for $5 -- a savings of $1!!

It's cranberry season. Fresh Fruit is only a week away but, in the meantime, stop by Fairland Farm/Cape Cod Organic Cranberry for some of the finest sweetened dried cranberries you can buy. Mention this e-mail blast and receive a dollar off a pound! (PomaCrans excluded). 

Good news: for those who could not get Turtle Creek's signature wine two weeks ago, the 2010 Cabernet Franc, they will have more this Saturday.
Fresh Catch Seafood will have fresh Swordfish Steaks $9.99 lb., fresh Wild Salmon Fillets $8.99 lb., Jumbo fresh Sea Scallops $12.99 lb., New England Clam Chowder $5. per pint, fresh Duxbury Oysters in the shell $1.59 each.

Available at All Souls tent for the first time this season, 8 ounce cans of 100% Fairly Traded Organic Baking Cocoa from Equal Exchange ($7.00) will be featured this week for your sumptuous fall baking projects! 

Joslin Foods is clearing out stock to make room for jars with new labels! There are not many left. All jars with the previous label are $5 or 3/$14. I will have plenty of my new labeled stock available as well 2/$11.

Evaruth's Specials are blueberry corn and pumpkin muffins along with our quick breads - you don't want to miss them!
