Former Braintree Resident and Business Realtor to Present Scholarship Donation

Peg Millar, former Braintree resident and realtor, will return to Braintree after 36 years to present a donation to the general fund.

From the Braintree Public Schools:

On Thursday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at Braintree Town Hall, Peg Millar, former Braintree resident and business realtor, will return to Braintree after 36 years to present a donation to the general fund of the Braintree Permanent Scholarship Program which awards yearly scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education. While in Braintree for approximately 20 years, Millar raised her two sons, was a successful business realtor, supportive resident of the town and the school department. Now, in appreciation, Ms. Millar looks forward to presenting a scholarship donation.

Friends and business acquaintances who knew Peg Millar are invited to attend the presentation. Mayor Joseph Sullivan, School Superintendent Dr. Frank Hackett, School Committee Chairperson Lisa Fiske-Heger and other school administrators will be present for the check presentation. Ms. Millar will be introduced by former Assistant Superintendent, Mike Molongoski.
