Gov. Deval Patrick Reuniting with Project 351 Students Saturday

Over 150 high school students from across Massachusetts are joining Governor Deval Patrick for Project 351's First Leadership Reunion today at the Hogan Campus Center, College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.
The youth ambassadors, representing the Commonwealth's 351 cities and towns, served with Governor Patrick in January of 2011 and 2012 respectively at the launch of their year of service. This mid-year check-in at Holy Cross will be an ambitious day of service learning and leadership training including a Town Hall Meeting with Governor Patrick.

"Project 351 is designed to inspire, challenge and motivate our next generation of leaders to give back and make a significant impact in the community," said Governor Patrick. "I am proud of the Ambassadors' dedication to service and I welcome the opportunity to check back in with them on their enduring work."
Chaired by Governor Deval Patrick, Project 351 celebrates the ethic of service, youth leadership, and the power of community to uplift and unite. Eighth-grade Ambassadors from cities and towns across the Commonwealth are nominated by local educators for a year of targeted leadership and service opportunities. Project 351, an independent non-profit organization, promotes the values of kindness, compassion, commitment, humility, and generosity of spirit through service and the leadership of its Ambassadors.
