One of the more difficult aspects of carving some time out for you and your significant other is deciding where to go. She might want to see a movie while he is more interested in anything sports. While there aren’t too many locations that could satisfy both desires, Patriot Place is a venue where two people can go and be equally happy.
There literally is something for everyone at Patriot Place. It’s about a 30-minute drive down 95, making it the perfect quick getaway. Just some of the shops include Bass Pro Shops, Victoria’s Secret, probably the most organized Christmas Tree Shop I’ve ever seen, Old Navy, and Eastern Mountain Sports. Take in a movie at the 14-screen Showcase Cinema De Lux. Dining can be casual or not, depending on your mood. From Five Guys Burgers and Fries and the Olive Garden to Davios and the Blue Fin Lounge, grabbing a bite at one of the 16 restaurants is only as complicated as you want it to be.
The nice thing about Patriot Place is that you don’t have to spend every minute together. Ladies, why not go off and get a relaxing facial at the Green Tangerine Salon while hubby checks out the goods at the Patriots Pro shop. Then meet up afterward, lace your ice skates and get some of that spark back at the outdoor skating rink. Measuring 60 by 140 feet, there is plenty of room for you and all those youngsters whizzing by. Admission is $7 and rentals are $4.
