Gunshots Interrupt Baby Shower In Braintree

BRAINTREE, MA — Gunshots brought an abrupt end to a baby shower at a union function hall on Saturday night.

Police said several bullets struck the Local 369 union hall at 120 Bay State Road, but no was injured. The front door and windows were shattered by the bullets, and one guest's car was hit, witnesses told WCVB.

Braintree police have made no further information available since Saturday night and did not immediately respond for comment. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 781-843-1212.
