How Braintree Voted In The Midterms: Warren-Diehl Was Close Here
Sen. Elizabeth Warren still defeated Republican challenger Geoff Diehl, but only by a 33-vote margin.

BRAINTREE, MA — For the most part, Braintree voted in line with the rest of the state, overwhelmingly supporting Gov. Charlie Baker, opposing mandated nurse-patient ratios, and supporting equal rights for transgender people.
However, unofficial results from the town clerk's office showed a much closer U.S. Senate Race. Sen. Elizabeth Warren still defeated Republican challenger Geoff Diehl, but only by a 33-vote margin. The vote total was 8,059-8,026 in Warren's favor. Statewide, Diehl lost by 24 percentage points.
