How Did Braintree do at the Falmouth Road Race?
Find out how runners from Braintree did at Sunday morning's Falmouth Road Race.
Sunday morning, over 10,000 runners made the 7-mile run from Wood’s Hole, up the coast of Falmouth to Grand Avenue at Falmouth Heights Beach as part of the 43rd annual Falmouth Road race.
Among the finishers were 167 runners from Braintree, William Ryan was the fastest resident with a time of 53:23. Katie Burke was the fastest Braintree woman with a time of 56:03.

Kenyan international runner Stephen Sambu was the overall winner, crossing the finish line with a time of 32:17. Diane Nukur of Burundi won the women’s division in 36:47.
