How To Give This Holiday Season In Braintree
Four holiday gift drives are ongoing in Braintree, with gifts distributed through the Marge Crispin Center.
BRAINTREE, MA — There are plenty of ways to give this holiday season in Braintree, but some opportunities are fleeting.
In Braintree, there are four gift drives currently underway, but some end this weekend.
The Marge Crispin Center has again stepped up to distribute the gifts from all of these gift drives.

According to town officials, "the purpose of the Marge Crispin Center is simple and sincere: to help our neighbors in need. We strive to be there for Braintree residents who are down on their luck and need support from the community, The Marge Crispin Center is a non-profit operated by Braintree Holiday/Friends, Inc.," a news release said.
"Since the 1970s, we have led the effort to support the residents of Braintree, Massachusetts in need of food and emergency aid, as well as providing adult day care services to seniors in the area," the release continued.

The gift drives are:
- Fill A Cruiser Holiday Toy Drive: Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., outside of Braintree Town Hall. Sponsored by Braintree Police and Brewster Ambulance.
- Jake and Joe's (Braintree) Dine Out: Wednesday, Dec. 7, all day. Twenty percent of all bills participating in the fundraiser will be donated to the Marge Crispin Center. Diners must simply let their server know that they are participating in the Marge Crispin Center fundraiser.
- Annual Braintree Christmas Party: Campanele's, 88 Pearl St., Thursday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m.
- Teen and Tween Gift Drive: Masonic Temple, 403 R Washington St., Saturday, Dec. 10, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Gifts for older kids)
