'Learning Comes To Life For South Middle School Students'
These assemblies enrich students' understanding of their curriculum material through exciting, fun, and interactive demonstrations.

From South Middle School: This year, students at South Middle School had several opportunities to see their learning come to life, thanks to the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the South PTO. Sixth grade students saw the Greek and Roman mythology they had been reading in English class come to life through the imaginative dramatic performances of MythMasters! Through pantomime, vibrant costumes, and a lot of crowd participation, students got to join in the oral tradition of our ancient ancestors. Seventh graders were enthralled by experiments demonstrating the principles of “Heat and Temperature” they had been studying in Science class. Eighth graders witnessed the laws of physics governing “Motion, Speed, and Velocity” in action through amazing experiments. These assemblies enrich students’ understanding of their curriculum material through exciting, fun, and interactive demonstrations. South appreciates the support of the community through the PTO and the Massachusetts Cultural Council to make learning come to life!
