FINAL: Wamps Downed by Feehan in Girls Basketball D1 South Final
The Wamps are a game away from their fifth consecutive MIAA Division 1 South championship.

BRAINTREE, MA - The Braintree girls' basketball team can extend what has been nothing short of an extraordinary run Friday night when they face Bishop Feehan for the MIAA Division 1 South Sectional championship.
With a win, the Wamps can pick up their fifth title in a row and earn a trip to the state semi-finals next week at the TD Garden.
Entering the tournament with a perfect 20-0 record, the top-seeded Wamps started the postseason with a bye into the quarterfinals, where they defeated No. 9 Newton 36-44. In the semi-finals, No. 5 Wellesley fell 47-35, setting up a date with No. 2 Bishop Feehan.
