MA Sen. Timilty Reappointed Chair Of Public Safety, Homeland Security
Sen. Walter Timilty, who represents Braintree, was also named vice chair of one committee, and a member of four others.

BOSTON, MA — Massachusetts State Sen. Walter Timilty will again chair the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security.
Committee appointments in the statehouse were made this week, with Timilty, whose district includes Braintree, being reappointed as the Senate Chair of the committee.
Timilty will also serve as vice chair on the Emergency Preparedness and Management Committee and was named a member of four others:

- Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure

"I am thrilled to have been reappointed as the Senate Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security for the 2023-2024 Session," said Sen. Timilty.
"I look forward to continuing my work with Massachusetts’s first responders, as well as with my colleagues, to further the Commonwealth’s commitment to the public safety of all its citizens."
