Making Way For TD Bank, Jimbo's Demolition Begins at Five Corners

If construction goes as planned, Five Corners should be home to by next spring. In the meantime, demolition began on Wednesday at the former Jimbo's restaurant, making way for a 2,900-square-foot structure that will feature environmentally-conscious features like solar panels and extra landscaping.

There will be three lanes in a drive-through hut in the northeast corner of the lot. TD Bank is also proposing exit and entryways on West and Franklin Streets and hours of operation seven days a week. The bank would be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
