Man Shot In Braintree, Hospitalized: Police

BRAINTREE, MA — A man was shot in the area of Skyline Drive on Thursday afternoon and later hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The shooting was not a random incident, according to a statement, and does not pose an ongoing threat to the community.

Skyline Drive is in a residential area of North Braintree, with numerous apartment buildings.

More information about the incident was not immediately available, and it continues to be under investigation.
