Missing Teen Sought In Braintree: Police Report

The 14-year-old girl has gone missing, and police aren't sure why.

BRAINTREE, MA — Police here are searching for a 14-year-old girl they say is missing, and there’s no explanation why.

Xioamara Rice was last seen wearing black-and-blue Air Jordan sneakers, and frequents the Hyde Park area of Braintree, according to a police statement late Monday.

The statement described her as a Black female, born Nov. 17, 2011. She is 5-feet-6-inches tall, with a weight of 170 pounds and “red-brown puffy hair,” according to the police.

They’ve described Rice’s disappearance as a “missing juvenile/runaway,” but further information wasn’t immediately available.
