No Opponents in Braintree Elections
So far, all the races for the fall election remain uncontested.

Unless a challenger appears this week, Braintree’s elected officials will likely face an easy election this fall.
Town Clerk James Casey told the Patriot Ledger that there have been no challengers for the upcoming town elections. Mayor Joseph Sullivan, who is running for his third term, will not have an opponent on the ballot and no other races are currently contested.
The lack of candidates is a stark contrast to neighboring Quincy and Weymouth where Weymouth Mayor Susan Kay has five challengers and Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch faces three opponents.
