Nordstrom Rack Marketplace at Braintree Opens in Former Kmart

BRAINTREE, MA — With the exit of some old businesses comes new stores in Braintree.

Friday, Nordstrom Rack opened their doors for the first time. The store is located in the former Kmart at Braintree Marketplace on Grossman Drive.

To celebrate the opening, the store held a celebration before the official opening at 9 a.m. According to the store's website, Nordstrom Rack is open 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Also announced late last year was a Saks Fifth Avenue outlet which will take up a portion of the store not used by Nordstrom. The Sports Authority, which went out of business in May, remains vacant.
