Patriot's Day Delays Braintree Trash, Recycling Collection

Trash collection will only be delayed one day, however. Here's what else to know.

In recognition of Patriot’s Day all non-emergency town offices will be closed on Monday, April 17th.

In addition on Monday, April 17th there will be no trash and recycling curbside collection. Trash and recycling curbside collection will be delayed by one day.

Additionally curbside yard waste collection will begin next week and will continue for the next six weeks until the end of May. Your yard waste pickup day is the same day as your trash and recycling pickup day. Curbside yard waste pickup includes grass, leaves, and branches that are in paper bags or an open container that weigh less than 50 pounds. Please do not put yard waste in the Town provided trash/recycling carts.

The Compost Site located at 225 Plain Street is open and operating under normal business hours Wednesday through Sunday from 7:15 am to 2:45 pm. At the compost site you can dispose of leaves, branches, grass clippings and other yard waste.
