Petersen Pool Forum to be Held Tonight

Councilman Charles Kokoros will hold a community forum on the proposal.

BRAINTREE, MA - Local residents will have a chance to speak out about the proposed Petersen Pool project this Wednesday night.

Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m., Councilman Charles Kokoros will hold a community forum on the proposal. Mayor Joseph Sullivan and other Town Council members are expected to attend.

“This is an opportunity for residents to come out and state any concerns, positive or negative in regards to the upcoming Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board meetings,” Kokorous said at a recent Town Council meeting.

The building, to be located at Braintree High School, is expected to be about 157,000 square feet. In addition to the pool, two ice rinks and a field house for athletics will be part of the new complex.
