Petersen Pool Projects Moves To Condition Phase

The decades-long effort to create Petersen Pool recently took an important step forward.

BRAINTREE, MA — The decades-long effort to create Petersen Pool recently took an important step forward.

The planning board voted at a recent meeting to move ahead to the conditions phase of the project, allowing the board to place conditions on the project before taking a final vote of approval.

The building enters the next phase half the size it was when it first appeared in front of the planning board and moved further away from the street. Missing from the new design is the indoor turf field. The two hockey rinks and pool with a diving board remain.
