Police say a Chinese food delivery driver was robbed by four men at an apartment complex.

BRAINTREE, MA — Police in Braintree are looking for four men who robbed a Chinese restaurant delivery driver and attempted to rob another
Police Chief Russell Jenkins said both incidents took place on Aug. 7. Just before 10 p.m., the delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant in Braintree was making a delivery on Commercial Street. When he was unable to locate the address, he called the cell phone number on the order and was given a different house number by the alleged customer and was told that he would meet him in five minutes. As the driver waited outside the location, he was approached by what he described as four black males from both the front and sides. The men made him nervous and he ran back to his vehicle and left, Jenkins said.
In the second incident which took place shortly after midnight, police responded to a reported robbery in the Braintree Village apartment complex. The victim in this incident was a delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant located in Quincy. He told police he was delivering an order to a unit in the complex. When he arrived, he called the cell phone number on the order and informed the customer he was about to enter the building. As he was proceeding down some stairs outside, he said he was approached from behind by two black men and from the front by two more black men. The victim told police that they pushed his head down, and with one of them holding a knife to his chest and took some of his personal property and the Chinese food before fleeing.
