Police Investigating Quincy Avenue Assault and Robbery
A teen told police that he was assaulted and robbed while walking on the street.

Police in Braintree are investigating a reported robbery.
On Dec. 29 shortly after 1 a.m., a 15-year-old male told police that while walking down Quincy Avenue and talking to a friend on his phone, two men pushed him to the ground from behind and demanded money, according to Police Chief Russ Jenkins.
When the victim said he didn’t have any cash, the suspects kicked and punched him before taking his phone.

The men fled in a waiting black Mercedes that was parked on Hayward Street. The victim told officers one suspect was wearing a “down” jacket and had a mask covering his mouth and the other was wearing gray pants and possibly Timberland boots.
A security guard at a nearby business told police he saw a black Mercedes with several males occupying it in a parking lot in the area prior to the alleged robbery.
