Police Log: Unlawful Wiretap, Breaking and Entering, and More

January 6

7:19 p.m. - Police arrested two people while investigating suspicious activity at the South Shore Plaza. Pamela Petrino, 49, of Wrentham was charged with disorderly conduct, unlawful wiretap, and possession of a Class C substance. Albert Distasio, 51, of Medford, was arrested with a warrant from the Medford Police Department.

January 7

1:11 a.m. - Brandon Smith, 28, was arrested on Union Street and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, subsequent offense.

4:44 a.m. - Christian Venet, 36, of Quincy, was arrested on Common Street and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, operating to endanger, and operating in violation of license restrictions.

January 8

1:06 p.m. - Police made two arrests while responding to a break-in on Old Country Way. James Clancy, 25, of Quincy, was arrested with a warrant from the Dedham Police Department and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony, receiving stolen property over $250, and receiving stolen property under $250. Katherine Sococo, 22, of Wrentham, was charged with two counts of breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony, receiving stolen property over $250, and receiving stolen property under $250.

January 9

12:45 a.m. - William Chiasson, 22, of Quincy, was arrested on Quincy Avenue and charged with a passing violation, possession of a Class A substance, and operating a motor vehicle after the right to operate is suspended.

7:49 p.m. - Barbara Gagnon, 43, of Waltham, was arrested at the South Shore Plaza and charged with larceny over $250.
