Police: Man Robs Braintree Bank Without Weapon
Police are searching for a man in connection with a robbery at Century Bank.

Braintree Police are investigating a robbery at the Century Bank on Granite Street in Braintree that was reported shortly after 10 a.m. on Monday, July 28, according to a statement from the department released Monday.
Following a panic alarm at 10:21 a.m., police learned a black male, approximately 5’9” tall with an athletic build and wearing a white dress shirt, yellow tie, Boston Red Sox hat and sunglasses handed a teller a note demanding money.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed sum of money and the man then fled the bank on foot, northbound on Granite Street. No weapon was shown or threatened and no one was injured.
