Post-Renovation East Middle School Enrollment Aiming for 1,000 Students
Braintree Superintendent Frank Hackett gave an update on the project at Monday's School Committee meeting.

BRAINTREE, MA - The Mass. School Building Authority's vote on whether to financially support the East Middle School project is still months away, according to Braintree Superintendent Frank Hackett.
In a project update for the School Committee, Hackett said they are currently at the feasibility space phase where the enrollment number is decided. According to Hackett, the projection is critical since the project will be based on that number.
After the meeting, Hackett said the number will be around 1,000 students.

"The last thing we want is to open the building and not have enough space and we're all very conscious of that," Hackett said.
The MSBA will make a decision on East Middle School in December or January, according to Hackett.
