Quincy Suspects Apprehended In Braintree After Car Chase
Two people were taken into custody after they fled from police officers, crashed the car and hid in the nearby woods in Braintree.

BRAINTREE, MA — Two people were found by the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing after leading police on pursuit, crashing the car and then fleeing into the nearby woods.
At 4:35 p.m. on Thursday yesterday, Massachusetts State Police Troop H patrols and the MSP Air Wing responded to assist Quincy Police in searching for two narcotics suspects who fled from a motor vehicle crash at the Route 3-Route 93 split in Braintree.
The suspects had failed to stop for Quincy officers and, after crashing, they fled into the adjacent woods, officials said.

Massachusetts State Police Air 3, one of the MSP Air Wing’s helicopters, crewed by Trooper Timothy Hunt, pilot, and Trooper Mason Oliveira, tactical flight officer, responded. Around 5:55 p.m., Air 3’s crew located the two suspects attempting to hide, lying prone on a granite outcrop.
Trooper Oliveira directed ground units to the suspect’s location, and both men were taken into custody by Quincy Police, officials said.
