Recycling Right Matters: Braintree Recycling Office

1. NO Plastic Bags should go into recycling as they wrap around the gears of the machinery at the processing plant, resulting in a total shutdown of equipment to hand pick the bags off the gears. This is very dangerous for the employees and costly.
2. NO Styrofoam should be in recycling. The recycling plant cannot process this material.
3. NO plastic wrappers from water/soda bottle packaging, candy bars, and NO paper plates, paper towels and napkins. Please put these items in the trash.
