The Shopper's Guide to Black Friday at the South Shore Plaza

Once again, the South Shore Plaza will begin operating with extended hours on Black Friday.

To celebrate the start of the holiday shopping season, the mall will open at 12:30 a.m. with 70 percent of retail stores to open at the same time

A large crowd is expected to lineup outside the mall Thursday night in anticipation of the sales and door busters. Those traveling around the mall should expected heavy traffic all weekend. Braintree Police traffic details and officers directing traffic outside.

Here are a few things you should know about Black Friday and Holiday shopping at the South Shore Plaza:

Hours

Nov. 28 (Black Friday) - 12:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Nov.29 - 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Nov. 30 - 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Note: The times are when the mall opens their doors. Actual store times may vary.

In addition to this weekend’s extended hours, the mall will have longer hours during December.
