The South Shore Music & Arts Camp offers children entering grades 1 through 5 the opportunity to work with professional music, art, and dance teachers during the week. SSCC aims to provide a well-rounded musical and arts experience for participants that is in accordance to the National Core Arts Standards: creating, performing, responding and connecting. The week culminates in a concert and art show on Friday evening, July 15th.

Choral Intensive
Who: Students entering 6th – 8th Grades (Concert Choir)
Students entering 9th Grade – Graduating Seniors (Advanced Choir)
When: Monday, July 11th – Friday, July 15th: 9:00am – 3:30pm Daily
Where: Quincy Point Congregational Church, 444 Washington Street, Quincy MA 02169
Tuition: $240 per student (Register before April 15th for the Early Bird Special price – only $210!)
Program Coordinator: Kirsten Shetler
The South Shore Choral Intensive is a program that focuses on themes of leadership, personal responsibility, and musical intelligence. Students will be encouraged to prepare for the week with learning tools and aid provided by SSCC Staff in order to perform high-level choral repertoire. Students will also have the opportunity to attend music theory class geared for their level of knowledge, hear from guest speakers such as local professors and professional musicians, and benefit from group sectionals with a professional section leader of their specific voice type. The week culminates in a final performance on Friday evening, July 15th, featuring choral works rehearsed during the program.
