SUPER TUESDAY: Trump, Sanders Take Braintree
Results from the polls in Braintree are in.
BRAINTREE, MA - Voters in Braintree hit the polls Tuesday during the Super Tuesday presidential primary, deciding who they want to be the Democratic and Republican candidates for president.
On the Democratic side, Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton 3,777-3,382, according to the town clerk's office. On the Republican side, Braintree went with the state, giving Donald Trump over 56 percent of the vote.
Turnout was 47 percent, according to Town Clerk Jim Casey.

- Clinton: 3,382, 45.85%
Republican
- Trump: 2,641, 56.18%
- Rubio: 721, 15.34%
- Kasich: 675, 14.63%
- Cruz: 394, 8.38%
- Carson: 94, 2%
