Suspect Disguised As Delivery Man Stealing Packages: Braintree PD

BRAINTREE, MA — Yellow vest, trucker hat; it's common to see this uniform around the holiday season. It's usually a delivery person dropping off gifts people sent to their loved ones. But after a reported package theft Monday, residents can no longer make that assumption.

On Thursday, a house near Sterling Street had a package stolen from the front steps. Home security footage showed that the suspect had disguised himself as a delivery worker. According to Braintree Police, this wasn't the first time this happened.

Earlier the same day, police received a similar report of a man stealing a package at a house on Sterling Street, Braintree Police told Boston 25 News.

No suspects have been found, but as police continue to investigate, they urge residents to have packages delivered to their work or somewhere they won't be left outside.
