Test Drive An EV At Braintree HS With Braintree Drives Electric

Braintree is participating in the seventh annual National Drive Electric Week, on Sept. 9 at Braintree High School. National Drive Electric Week is a nation-wide celebration of Electric Vehicles (EVs) that takes place from Sept. 9-17. This event is organized by Braintree Drives Electric, a BELD sponsored program, to drive EV adoption in Braintree. Drive Electric Week is presented by Plug In America, Sierra Club, and Electric Auto Association.

The event will feature test drives of several EV models -- including the all-electric Chevy Bolt -- local EV owners showcasing their cars and discussing their experiences, free Ben and Jerry's ice cream for the first 100 attendees, and more. The event will be in the Braintree High School parking lot from 1-4 p.m.
