Braintree Baseball Going Back to Super 8 Final
The Wamps are a game away from becoming back to back MIAA Division 1A champions.

Braintree, MA - For the second year in a row, the Braintree baseball team will play for the state championship.
Sunday night, the Wamps beat Xaverian 11-3 to clinch a spot in the Super 8 tournament final. They will play for the title on June 16 against the winner of the losers bracket.
With the loss, Xaverian moves over to the losers bracket final. They will play either St. John's Prep or St. John's of Shrewsbury.

Braintree enters the final undefeated, giving them two chances to win the title. If they lose on June 16, a second game will take place to decide the champion.
Last year, Braintree beat St. John's Prep to win the Super 8 tournament.
