Three Charged With Stealing From South Shore Plaza Arrested In Restaurant Bathroom, Nearby Woods

BRAINTREE, MA —Three people were taken into custody near the South Shore Plaza after attempting to flee the area following a shoplifting incident at the mall.

Police said late Thursday night that the foot chase from the mall extended to the TGI Friday's across the street and the wooded area near the highway.

The first two suspects were arrested after they were found in the TGI Friday's bathroom and on the on-ramp to the highway. The third was found in the woods after an hour-long search.

A Norfolk County K9 unit assisted with the search.

As of late Thursday night, the names of the three suspects arrested have not been released.
