Top Ranked Braintree Girl's Basketball Defeats Archbishop Williams

Braintree High School girl’s basketball team and Archbishop Williams High School basketball team went head-to-head in a basketball showcase on Monday.
The No. 1 ranked Lady Wamps defeated the No. 2 ranked Bishops 54-47, The Boston Globe reported.

The top teams in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York competed in a Greater Northeast Girls Basketball Showcase hosted by Braintree High School on Sunday and Monday.
Braintree High School and Archbishop Williams High School were among the teams competing in the showcase. Other teams included Capital Prep of Connecticut, Providence Classical of Rhode Island and Christ The King of New York.

On Sunday, Archbishop Williams beat Providence Classical 103-27 and Braintree High School defeated Christ the King High School 69-52.
