Stuck Accelerator Blamed for Weymouth Landing Crash

BRAINTREE, MA — Commercial Street heading into Weymouth was closed due to a vehicle that crashed into Craft Beer Cellar at the Weymouth Landing, according to the Braintree Police Department.

No injuries have been reported.

Store owner Kay Lornez told WCVB that she heard a loud sound seconds before the crash, noting that no one was hurt and the beer stayed intact.

The driver told the store owner that the accelerator got stuck and he drove though three intersections and hit a car before going smashing into the store front.
