Two People Injured In Fiery Crash On Route I-93 In Braintree
One person has potentially life-threatening injuries, according to Massachusetts State Police.
BRAINTREE, MA — Two people were sent to the hospital after a fire erupted following a car crash on the expressway in Braintree.
Massachusetts State Troopers responded to I-93 northbound near Furnace Brook around 3:20 a.m. to find a van enveloped in flames.
Police say all northbound lanes were shut down for a short amount of time.

Two people were taken to the hospital, and one is suffering from what police are calling potentially life-threatening injuries.
The fire was able to be taken out by the Quincy Fire Department.

Massachusetts State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
