Vaping, Marijuana Forum Coming To Braintree High School

The presentation is free and open to the public.

BRAINTREE, MA — A presentation about how vaping and marijuana impacts teens is open to the public Nov. 14., at Braintree High School.

The forum starts at 6:30 p.m., in the school auditiorium and will feature Traci Wojciechowski, regional director of education at the Caron Treatment Center as its keynote speaker. Wojiechhowski has been with Caron since 2002. As director, her responsibility is to provide education, prevention and intervention services to schools and youth groups throughout the Northeast.

Wojciechowski will highlight the potential effects and consequences of marijuana for youth, as well as discussing its effects on a developing brain. In regards to vaping, Wojciechowski will discuss popular product trends, such as the JUUL, and how parents can openly talk to their teens about the trend.
