Where To See The 2017 4th Of July Fireworks, Parade In Braintree
Braintree is getting ready for their annual 4th of July celebration!
BRAINTREE, MA — The 44-year tradition is back as Braintree gets ready to celebrate the 4th of July.
The celebration takes place July 1 and starts with the Stars and Stripes Parade at 11:45 a.m. The parade begins in the parking lot of the Registry of Motor Vehicles/Bayshore Athletic Club on Plain Street, takes a right out of the parking lot onto Plain Street and then a quick right onto Hancock Street and proceeds north on Hancock Street through South Braintree Square. It continues straight as Hancock Street becomes Washington Street and ends at the Hollis School on Washington Street
Parade officials recommend watching the parade at Braintree Town Hall and the Thayer Public Library on Washington Street.

Following the parade, over 30 food trucks will take part in one of the area's largest food truck festivals. Selections include All-American hamburgers, Asian street-food, Jamaican jerk chicken, Italian-style pizza, and more. They'll be lawn games and entertainment as well.
Finally, the fireworks go off at 10 p.m.

All events take place at Braintree High School. In the event of rain, the fireworks will be held July 2 with music and games starting at 6 p.m. and the fireworks at 10 p.m.
