Widow Drops $2.6K Ring into Salvation Army Kettle in Weymouth
Diamond encrusted jewelry was dropped into four separate Salvation Army kettles in Massachusetts this week.

The Salvation Army has seen a trend of anonymous donors dropping valuable jewelry items into kettles throughout Massachusetts.
It all started when a widow dropped her wedding ring in a Boston Salvation Army kettle to honor her late husband in early December.
This initial donation led to diamond encrusted jewelry to be handed over at four separate Salvation Army locations this week.
