Woman Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash At Braintree MBTA Station
Braintree police are looking for the driver of a Honda Accord that hit a woman outside the MBTA station before driving off.
BRAINTREE, MA — Police are looking for a driver accused of striking a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash outside the Braintree MBTA station. Around 7:45 p.m. Thursday, police were called to Ivory Street after a woman crossing the street from the station to the parking lot was hit by a dark colored sedan.
Police said the driver never stopped and kept driving north on Ivory Street. The woman was brought to the hospital after suffering non life-threatening injuries.
Officers recovered the driver-side mirror and pieces of a headlight covering. Police described the car suspected to be involved in the crash as a 2008-12 Honda Accord.
