Senior at Sunrise in Braintree Celebrates 102nd Birthday on St. Patrick's Day
Marjorie Crear grew up in Boston and now lives at Sunrise Senior Living on Granite Street in Braintree.
One hundred and two years ago, Marjorie Crear came into this world, soon leaving high school to work in a shoe factory, and later in life moving to Braintree from her native Hyde Park to live at .
How did she get to such an advanced age?
"Gee, I don't know," Crear said at a birthday party Sunrise held for her Saturday on St. Patrick's Day. "I just woke up and I was 102."
