Tim Carey announced Tuesday on the Everything Braintree Massachusetts Facebook page that he is launching a write-in campaign.

BRAINTREE, MA — There will be an additional candidate running for the town council, but his name won't be on the ballot.
Tim Carey announced Tuesday on the Everything Braintree Massachusetts Facebook page that he is launching a write-in campaign for the town council's District 6 seat. The seat is being vacated by Paul "Dan" Clifford, who has decided to not run for another term.
My wife, Julie, and I decided to buy a home here in Braintree when we got married because of how special this town is including the rich traditions and all that the town offers families. My children, Dylan and Marisa, are both ten and attend Liberty School. In the almost fifteen years of living in Braintree, we have enjoyed many town events and have met many terrific people through school, sports, and volunteer activities. I am interested in hearing directly from residents regarding your concerns and ideas. I am an advocate for the residents of Braintree," Carey wrote in his announcement.
