• Feds Broaden Criminal Case Against Ex-Cape Builder Group Head (bankerandtradesman.com) — Brewster’s state representative, Christopher Flanagan, now faces an expanded federal indictment alleging wire fraud, money laundering, falsified records, and false tax returns tied to his former role with a Cape builders group. Prosecutors say he diverted association funds for personal expenses and into his campaign, while he continues serving in the House and maintains a presumption of innocence as the case proceeds.
