Abington Woman Is Mass' Newest Multimillionaire

ABINGTON, MA — Meet Massachusetts' newest millionaire and all it took was a few scratches off an instant game ticket.

Taylor Shockley of Abington is the third $4 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s "$4,000,000 Payout” $10 instant game. She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $2.6 million. She told Lottery officials that she plans on using her winning to purchase a new home and a car.

The winning ticket was purchased at Yours Convenience Street on Brockton Ave in Abington. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale.

Two $4 million prizes and seven $1 million instant prizes remain in the game.
