Animal Rescue Group Searching for Person Who Threw Bag of Kittens from Car on Route 24
If you know who threw a bag of kittens out of a car on Route 24, please contact the center at 508-994-0220.

The Center for Animal and Rescue Education wants to know who threw a bag of kittens from a car between exits 15 and 16 on Route 24.
On June 5, a bag with five kittens was thrown from a vehicle on the highway, according to the group. Another driver, seeing the bag, stopped immediately and took the kittens to an ER veterinarian in Bridgewater. Sadly, only one of the kittens survived, with the others crushed in the bag.
The one survivor, named Freeway, suffered nerve damage in his leg. Doctors at Capeway Veterinarian Hospital told the group that they are unsure if he'll get full use of his leg again, but he should be able to live a full life.
